Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing is Okee Dokee Brothers, a bluegrass band based in Minneapolis that could make a child-oriented to their music since 2005. And together they went to their early days and their folky songs to remember from their childhood together in Colorado.
"It was a friendship since childhood typical," said Mailander, 27, who
now divides his time between Minneapolis and New York City. "Doing
things outside, like fishing, the river, play in the children at that
time., And we found out when we started making music together that it is
our memories back."

Okee Dokee you say they are trying to turn down the music that glorifies materialism or carelessness, rather than support beyond nature, sports, and spending time. Best-selling album, "Can You Canoe?" is a set of acoustic songs inspired by a month-long solo canoe trip take down the Mississippi River, from Minnesota to Missouri. They are known as "Mississippi River Adventure Album."This music group cited musical inspiration from artists such as Bob Dylan adult, Paul Simon and Gillian Welch. Both seek motivation from good deeds, they've toured Midwestern homeless shelters, and Lansing, New York time spent in part-time work with a nonprofit that puts on music and improvisation in class underserved schools.
"It's not the media that is in demand," said Lansing children's music. "But you know, last year's Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger were playing music for kids Then there were the long way toward music that parents do not enjoy. That's what we're trying to fight."
The next step is an "adventure album," with plans to hike the Appalachian Trail next fall for the material. Mailander said they want to make these available in all four records, and to target the upcoming events in the Rocky Mountains and along the Pacific coast."If you want to do something, if you have a dream - go for it and try to make it happen," said Mailander. "Hopefully that's the message of this album - go to realize your dreams."
